Bangkok First Investment & Trust Public Company Limited (BFIT) was incorporated in 1969 with the primary objective of conducting investment banking business in Thailand's expanding economy. The company was initially set up as a joint venture between Bangkok Bank Ltd and Citibank. Since its inception, BFIT has been active in promoting and developing Thailand's capital and financial market. In 1976, BFIT's management was taken over by the Thai partner, pursuing its original corporate policy with noted success.
